Job description

Develop new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Conduct customer visits, site surveys, and understand project requirements.
Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders.
Recommend suitable conveyor, material handling, and automation solutions based on customer needs.
Work closely with the Engineering and Project teams to prepare technical proposals and cost estimations.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts with customers.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
Coordinate project handover to the Project Department after order confirmation.
Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to customers.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally.
Identify market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
Participate in exhibitions, product presentations, and networking events to promote the company's products and services.
Ensure timely collection of payments in accordance with agreed payment terms.
Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and sales documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
                    

Requirements

✅ Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
✅ Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
✅ 1–3 years of sales experience in industrial equipment or engineering is an advantage.
✅ Knowledge of conveyor systems, material handling, or factory automation is preferred.
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
✅ Good negotiation and sales closing skills.
✅ Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
✅ Self-motivated and target-driven.
✅ Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
✅ Able to work independently and in a team.
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
✅ Able to read engineering drawings is an added advantage.
✅ Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
✅ Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
✅ Willing to travel for customer visits and site surveys.
✅ Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and products.
✅ Able to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
