Job description
Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for industrial and process plant projects using Autodesk Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
Produce accurate 3D models for piping, equipment, structural steel, architectural, and MEP systems based on engineering design information.
Generate 2D drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and construction drawings from BIM models.
Perform clash detection and coordination between process, piping, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
Support the development of BIM execution plans, modelling standards, and project workflows.
Coordinate with Process Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Instrumentation Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure model accuracy and constructability.
Extract quantities, material take-offs, equipment schedules, and reports from BIM models to support estimation and procurement activities.
Assist in site surveys, laser scan registration, scan-to-BIM modelling, and as-built model development.
Participate in model review meetings and implement comments from project teams and clients.
Maintain BIM data integrity and ensure compliance with company BIM standards and project requirements.
Support the development of digital twin and asset information models for industrial facilities.
Assist in preparing BIM visualizations, walkthroughs, and project presentations.
