Job description

Lead and mentor junior HVAC technicians, providing guidance on complex installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, and VRF systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for critical HVAC equipment, minimizing downtime and extending the lifespan of assets.
Oversee the installation of new HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
Conduct thorough site assessments and surveys to identify potential HVAC issues and recommend appropriate solutions or upgrades.
Manage inventory of HVAC parts and supplies, ensuring availability for scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful project completion.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities, including service reports and equipment logs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the field.
Respond to emergency service calls, providing rapid and effective solutions to critical HVAC system failures.
                    

Requirements

Possess at least 6 years and above of hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician, with a proven track record in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex HVAC systems.
Demonstrated expertise in a wide range of HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), ventilation systems, and control systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to effectively troubleshoot and install HVAC components.
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, air balancing, psychrometrics, and electrical controls related to HVAC systems.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and the ability to develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize system performance and longevity.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the HVAC industry, including lockout/tagout procedures and handling of refrigerants.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Good leading and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin proficiency being a strong asset for client and team interaction.
Willingness to work onsite at 65 Jalan Angsa, Taman Berkeley, 41150 Kapar, Selangor, Malaysia, and potentially travel to other company sites as needed.
