We are seeking a driven and technically-minded Sales Executive to join our team in Johor. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence within the southern region’s thriving manufacturing and industrial sectors. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and providing technical solutions involving high-end industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Proactively identify and approach potential clients in the electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, and automotive industries within the Johor region.
Technical Consultation: Understand client production challenges and recommend suitable machinery solutions, including AOI systems, BGA rework stations, ionizers, and terminal crimping machines.
Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of service and technical support.
Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial lead generation and product demonstration to quotation, negotiation, and after-sales follow-up.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new manufacturing technologies to better position our product portfolio.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in outdoor sales, preferably within the industrial automation, electronics manufacturing, or M&E sectors.
Education: Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical), or a related field.
Skills: * Strong negotiation and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage given our supplier/client base).
Ability to read technical specifications and explain equipment ROI to customers.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Attributes: Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and own transport for frequent client visits across Johor.
