Job description

About the Role: We are looking for a hands-on Technical Service Engineer to provide high-level support for our industrial electronics manufacturing equipment. You will be the primary technical lead for onsite installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of specialized machinery including AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), BGA Rework Stations, X-Ray Inspection, and Wire Processing machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Commissioning: Execute onsite setup and calibration of industrial machinery at customer manufacturing sites.

Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for electronic inspection and assembly equipment.

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled service visits to ensure machine reliability and optimal performance.

User Training: Provide technical training and operational guidance to client engineers and operators.

Technical Support: Act as the first line of technical contact, providing remote and onsite assistance for machine-related inquiries.

Reporting: Document service activities, maintenance logs, and technical failure analysis for internal and external stakeholders.


                    

Requirements

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance or field service (experience with SMT, AOI, or BGA machinery is a significant advantage).

Skills: * Ability to read electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin proficiency is a plus for technical liaison with suppliers).

Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to customer sites.
