Job description
Lead the design and development of civil and structural engineering plans, drawings, and specifications across various project scopes.
Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and surveys to collect essential data for effective project planning and execution.
Prepare basic and detailed engineering drawings, design calculations, specifications, and Material Take-Off (MTO) for all civil and structural components of the project.
Conduct structural analyses and calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of new structures as well as the assessment and verification of existing structures.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges, providing innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements and client expectations
Monitor project progress, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Provide technical guidance and support to other disciplines, Project Management, Client, and site teams throughout construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and acceptance testing.
Mentor and guide more junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to develop the team's capabilities
Support the Head of Section in tasks related to discipline development and departmental improvement initiatives.
Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Section or Head of Department
Requirements
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent field.
Registered engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
Minimum 6 to 7 years’ experience in executing engineering work in Oil & Gas Industry or related industries.
