Job description
Set up and operate CNC 3-axis/4-axis/5-axis, lathe, and milling machines according to approved parameters.
Adjust work offsets, tool offsets, tool life management, and fixture positioning.
Interpret drawings and GD&T tolerance requirements.
Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), SPC, and in-process checks.
Use and follow precision instruments (micrometer, caliper, height gauge, dial test indicator, CMM report).
Perform preventive maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
Record cycle time, scrap, measurement data, machine status.
Influence machining stability, efficiency, tool cost reduction.
Maintain 5S, PPE compliance, and safety practice.
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Precision Machining;SKM Level 2-4 or Level 3 (JPK/TVET) Field: Machine Tool Technology / CNC Machining / Precision Engineering.
Minimum 3 years experience in CNC setup & operation experience.
Ability to perform CNC machine operations working from blueprints + GD&T (true position, run out, flatness), technical drawings.
Able to work shifts if required, overtime, and in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of quality system or experience in regulated manufacturing is an advantage.
Skilled with hand tools and metrology instruments.
High discipline, ownership, and accountability.
