Job description

1.	Supervising Waste Water Treatment, General Waste Management, Scheduled & Hazardous Wastes. 
2.	Responsible on waste water process control and improvement (ensure all parameters meeting the requirements).
3.	Effluent plant chemicals consumption recording. 
4.	Identify and troubleshooting on effluent plant issues.
5.	Waste water testing on daily / weekly basic.
6.	To manage factory discharge, emission control, schedule waste, and lab test on waste.
7.	Online Environment Reporting (OER) update – waste water / sewage result.
8.	To manage the inventory / scheduled waste consignment note in the electronic scheduled waste information system (ESWIS).
9.	Control and further improve on factory emission /waste management.
10.	Liaising with contractor on monthly cleaning service on sewage system.
11.	To ensure Storage, Packaging & Labelling of Scheduled Waste according to DOE requirements.
12.	Ensure on compliance and implementation of ESG (Environment).
13.	Safety briefing to visitors (customer/contractor/ supplier) on safety.
14.	Develop and implement Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and policies.
15.	Implement / further improvement on safety management system; e.g. establish and maintain effective EHS processes for the company.
16.	Local authorities (DOE, DOSH, JKKP, Bomba and contractor) coordination.
17.	Undertake assignments, ad-hoc tasks and related duties as and when required
                    

Requirements

1.	At least a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or Environmental/ Health & Safety or equivalent.
2.	With minimum 1-3 years of working experience in environmental field or experience in handling waste water treatment plant. 
3.	Possess good communication and written skills.
4.	Having good interpersonal skills, strong leadership and training skills.
5.	Able to work independently with minimum supervision
