Job description

Produce, check, and review high-quality design documents and drawings with minimal supervision.
Manage overall design tasks and provide guidance and training to drafters.
Undertake the role of Lead Designer in project execution.
Recommend design practices to optimize man-hours and material usage.
Generate 3D models using up-to-date 3D modeling software.
Plan drawing requirements, including title blocks, general notes, sequences, numbering, and scales.
Conduct site and line checks to validate designs and ensure fit with existing plant or construction conditions.
Maintain organized records of all drawing revisions (digital and hardcopy).
Assist the Head of Section (HoS) in discipline and departmental development initiatives.
Perform tasks as per specific Discipline Work Instructions.
                    

Requirements

Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field (preferred).
1–5 years of experience in engineering design within the Oil & Gas industry.
Proficient in 2D AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
Hands-on experience in preparing engineering drawings and conducting field engineering work.
Familiarity with constructability reviews and client coordination.
