Job description
Ensure that all fire protection and fire-fighting systems are in good working condition at all times.
Report any safety / security hazard to management for follow-up action.
Investigate and report all complaints received pertaining to safety and security.
Conduct safety checks on firefighting equipment and emergency exits.
Be the leader / member of company emergency response team.
Create awareness and educate all workmen on the aspect of environmental, safety & health at workplace.
Organize and provide training to the staff related to environmental, safety & health.
Initiate safety programme, measures, procedures and committee meeting to ensure a safe workplace.
Carry out compliance reviews, risk assessments and other safety assessments for environmental, health and safety management.
Maintain relevant environmental, safety and health logs and documentation.
Prepare applicable environmental, safety and health reports as necessary.
Monitoring and maintaining facility/building and rectify any related issues as soon as possible.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in relevant discipline or its equivalent
Minimum 1-5 years experience in safety roles
Strong knowledge on local safety regulation and other related standards
Able to interact and communicate well with all levels of people
