Interpretation of tender specifications, client requirement, drawings and any other relevant documents. Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off Prepare RFQ package and source supplier and subcontractors. Review and compare quotations received, including clarifications correspondences. Prepare and analyse cost comparison Obtaining quotations Cost Control and Budget Monitoring Liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers Check and evaluate the progress claims submitted by the sub-contractors in closely liaison with Project Manager / designated staff on the work done in terms of quantities and quality Identify, evaluate, and submit variations (VOs) with all necessary supporting documentation Prepare monthly progress claims to client Manage subcontractor and vendor claims All other QS related job
Candidate must possess at least Degree in Building/ Construction or Quantity Surveying At least 3 years of experiences in quantity surveying Able to use Microsoft Excel and Word Good communication skills Independent and responsible for the construction project assigned
