Job description
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, referrals, and market research.
Meet or exceed sales targets set by the company.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and customer retention.
Present, promote, and sell products/services to prospective clients using solid product knowledge and persuasive communication.
2. Client Management
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Provide timely and professional responses to client inquiries and issues.
Follow up with clients after sales to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
3. Market Research & Strategy
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Suggest improvements or new product ideas based on customer insights.
Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
4. Sales Process Management
Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts.
Negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms within company guidelines.
Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and activity logs using CRM or sales tracking tools.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance, technical team) to ensure timely order fulfillment.
5. Reporting & Analysis
Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager or Head of Sales.
Track personal performance and align activities to meet targets and KPIs.
Analyze lost sales, follow up on pending orders, and identify areas for improvement.
6. Post-Sales Support
Coordinate with after-sales or support teams to ensure customer issues are resolved promptly.
Provide product training or usage guidance where necessary.
Maintain strong post-sale relationships for long-term business growth.
Requirements
Entry-level: 0–2 years (for junior positions or trainees).
Mid-level: 2–5 years in sales or business development roles.
Industry-specific experience (e.g., compressors, machinery,) is often preferred.
