Job Summary:

The Planning Senior Executive is responsible for the efficient and effective planning of wire harness production, ensuring the alignment of production capacity with customer demands and delivery schedules. This role involves meticulous scheduling, resource allocation, and close coordination with various departments to meet the company’s production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Job Scope & Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning:
Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and internal capacity.Monitor and adjust schedules in real-time to address any fluctuations in demand, equipment availability, or workforce constraints.Ensure on-time delivery by coordinating production timelines with procurement and logistics teams.
Material & Resource Management:Work closely with procurement to ensure raw materials and components are available in the right quantities and at the right time.Track inventory levels of wire harness components, ensuring optimal stock levels to avoid production delays.Allocate and optimize the use of equipment, manpower, and resources to meet production goals.
Capacity Planning:Conduct capacity analysis to ensure that the production line can handle varying levels of demand.Identify any bottlenecks in the process and recommend solutions to enhance throughput.Collaborate with the operations team to adjust production capacity as needed.
Cross-Department Collaboration:Communicate production plans and schedules to relevant departments, including engineering, quality control, procurement, and sales.
Act as a point of contact for resolving planning-related issues and addressing urgent production changes.Prepare production status reports and communicate updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Process Improvement:Continuously assess and improve planning processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize waste.Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement lean manufacturing principles.Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate new technologies or methods into the planning process.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:Ensure that all planned production meets the company’s quality standards and complies with customer requirements.Work closely with the quality assurance team to identify and address
