Job description
- Handling of daily account operation and administrative tasks, such as prepare and process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, reconciliations and payments
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
- Handling of petty cash claim reimbursement.
- Coordinate treasury activities which include prepare daily cash flow, online payment and etc.
- Ensure all accounting records and documents are properly filed and maintained.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks or duties assigned by superior.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Candidates who are possess at least SPM/”O’ Level, Professional Certificate, LCCI, Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or finance role; preferably in Sales or Marketing sector.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office suite
- Excellent communication (oral and written). Well verse in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. As the position requires data entry into the system, candidates who are proficient in Mandarin will be preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, independently, proactively and meeting given time frame.
- Preferably to start immediately or within short notice.
