The Procurement Engineer will manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services from Chinese vendors. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong supplier relationships. 1.Vendor Management: -Identify and build relationships with reliable Chinese vendors. -Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve the best value. 2. Procurement Process: -Work with internal teams to understand technical requirements. -Source and procure materials and services on time and within budget. -Monitor supplier performance for quality and delivery. 3. Communication: -Act as the main contact between SEM Equipment and Chinese vendors. -Resolve issues like delays or quality concerns. 4. Cost Optimization: -Analyze market trends to find cost-saving opportunities. 5. Compliance: -Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and legal requirements. -Maintain accurate records of contracts and supplier communications.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. Experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in a technical field. Strong communication and negotiation skills in Mandarin Chinese and English. Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings. Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SQL). Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Chinese business practices and culture, familiarity with international trade regulations.
