Driving and Vehicle Management
- Transportation Execution: Undertake daily transportation tasks assigned by the company, which may include picking up and dropping off employees, transporting clients, and delivering goods. Your punctuality and reliability will be highly valued.
- Safe Driving: Ensure that you drive safely, on time, and in full compliance with traffic laws and company policies. Your driving skills will contribute to the safety of everyone on board and protect the company's reputation.
Vehicle Maintenance & Upkeep
- Regular Checks: Conduct routine vehicle inspections to keep them in optimal condition and ensure safety. This includes checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and other essential components.
- Maintenance Duties: Take responsibility for fueling the vehicles, keeping them clean, and performing routine maintenance tasks. You should also be capable of handling minor repairs. If you notice any malfunctions or damages, report them promptly for necessary repairs.
Emergency Response
- Quick Action: Be prepared to respond rapidly to unexpected situations like vehicle breakdowns or accidents. Take appropriate steps to minimize disruptions to our operations and ensure the safety of all involved.
Compliance with Safety Procedures
- Policy Adherence: Strictly follow all company driving policies and traffic regulations. Your commitment to safety will help prevent accidents and safeguard company assets and personnel.
Other Assigned Tasks
- Flexible Support: Be willing to assist with other transportation-related duties as assigned by the company. Your flexibility will contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Requirements
Educational Background: While no formal education is required, having a high school diploma is a plus. It shows a certain level of basic knowledge and commitment to learning.
- Driving Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of driving experience. You must hold a valid Malaysian Class D or higher driving license with a clean driving record. Familiarity with local routes and navigation systems will enable you to navigate efficiently and reach destinations on time.
- Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge: Possess basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and be able to perform simple troubleshooting. This will help you keep the vehicles in good working order and address minor issues promptly.
- Personal Qualities: Be responsible, cautious, and safety-conscious. Good communication skills and a service-oriented attitude are essential, as you'll be interacting with employees, clients, management executives and guests or visitors. You should also be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if necessary, to meet the company's transportation needs.
