Routine Maintenance and Monitoring
- Regular Inspections: Conduct routine checks, periodic maintenance, and continuous operational monitoring of all electrical equipment within the factory. Your keen eye will be crucial in promptly spotting and resolving potential issues, ensuring the long-term stability of our electrical infrastructure.
Fault Diagnosis and Resolution
- Swift Problem-Solving: Be prepared to quickly diagnose and fix various faults that occur during the operation of electrical equipment. Develop effective solutions to minimize downtime and boost overall operational efficiency.
Installation and Commissioning
- Precision Work: Oversee the installation, commissioning, testing, and acceptance of electrical equipment according to design and specification requirements. Ensure that all work adheres to technical standards and safety protocols.
Safety Compliance
- EHS Adherence: Strictly follow electrical safety operation procedures and the company's EHS requirements. Your vigilance will ensure that all work sites and operations meet environmental, health, and safety standards.
Annual Planning
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and actively participate in the annual inspection and maintenance plan for electrical equipment. Ensure timely implementation of the plan to maximize equipment performance.
Collaboration
- Internal and External Cooperation: Work closely with internal teams, such as production and engineering, as well as external suppliers. Your collaborative efforts will be key in resolving electrical equipment issues and driving project implementation.
Policy Compliance and Ad-Hoc Tasks
- Policy Adherence: Abide by all company policies and regulations, making sure all your work aligns with company standards.
- Task Completion: Take on and complete any additional tasks assigned by superiors to support the seamless operation of the electrical department.
Requirements
Educational Background: Hold a Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Your academic knowledge will form the basis for your practical work.
- Work Experience: Have at least 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably with a manufacturer in metallurgical industry. You should be well-versed in electrical power engineering and the maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Certifications: Possess a valid electrician certificate and a high-voltage operation certificate. These certifications are a testament to your technical competence.
- Technical Skills:
- Be familiar with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-voltage electrical equipment.
- Have the ability to independently handle various electrical faults.
- Be proficient in the safety operation procedures of electrical equipment, with strong fault analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills.
- Exhibit team spirit and a high sense of responsibility.
- Be able to use office software for basic record-keeping, reporting, and work planning management.
- Language Proficiency: Be proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay. This multilingual ability will enable you to communicate effectively with the team and external suppliers.
