Job description
Install, maintain, and repair copier machines and related equipment.
Perform routine servicing, such as cleaning, replacing parts, and ensuring optimal performance.
Address mechanical issues like paper jams, misfeeds, or print quality problems.
Diagnose software and hardware problems reported by customers.
Provide solutions for issues related to printing, scanning, copying, and connectivity.
Guide customers through troubleshooting steps remotely or on-site.
Complete service reports, logs, and records to document issues, actions taken, and resolutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, parts replaced, and customer interactions.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing copier machines and related hardware.
Knowledge of software drivers, firmware updates, and configuration settings for copiers.
Basic understanding of network printing and connectivity (e.g., Wi-Fi, Ethernet).
Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Strong attention to detail to ensure problems are fully resolved.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
Patience and professionalism when dealing with frustrated or inexperienced users.
Ability to manage multiple service calls, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Maintain accurate documentation for all service actions.
Diagnostic tools for copier machines.
Replacement parts (e.g., toner cartridges, rollers, belts).
Software tools for firmware updates and configuration.
Travel to customer locations to perform repairs and maintenance.
Assist customers over the phone or via remote desktop tools.
Occasionally work in an office setting to document service actions or prepare equipment.
