Job description
Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
Continuously source for new suppliers
Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
Liaise with supplier on sample development and defect part replacement
Execute order planning, PO issuance to supplier, and ensure timeliness delivery from supplier
Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Analyse product costing and exposure to global cost benchmarking.
Update the respective departments on all parts and raw materials estimated time of arrival
Requirements
Minimum Diploma or degree or its equivalent with at least 2 years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
Required skill(s): Microsoft Office, ERP software.
Can work as a team and work independently
Good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with all levels of management and operational employees
