Job description
• Take full responsibility for the preparation and submission of bids, including technical proposals, cost estimates, and tender documents
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate fee proposals for projects in line with the company's scope of work
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance) to gather necessary inputs for bids and proposals
• Develop pricing strategies and detailed cost estimates based on quantity surveying principles
• Ensure all bids and proposals meet client requirements, industry standards, and are submitted on time
• Maintain high standards of written communication and presentation in all documentation
• Track and manage multiple bids and proposals, ensuring deadlines are met
• Organize and maintain detailed records of all bid and proposal documents
• Support post-bid evaluations and incorporate improvements for future submissions
• Identify new bid opportunities and maintain a pipeline of upcoming tenders.
Requirements
• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
• Proven experience in bid preparation and fee proposal development
• Strong writing skills with a high standard of written communication and excellent command of English
• Proficiency in technical specifications, cost estimation, and pricing strategies
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple bids and proposals under tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proactive and able to work either independently or in a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
