Job description
• Act as the main point of contact between the company and the Malaysian Customs Department for all LMW-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with LMW regulations, including record-keeping, reporting, and submission of required documentation.
• Prepare and submit LMW monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to relevant authorities.
• Monitor and manage LMW licenses and ensure timely renewals and updates.
• Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and customs brokers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Oversee inventory control processes, including stock management, cycle counts, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
• Ensure all documents are compliant with LMW and other regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with internal departments such as, production, sales and finance to ensure alignment on logistics activities.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with specific experience in LMW liaison and compliance in Malaysia.
• Knowledge of Malaysian customs regulations and LMW requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with government authorities and internal teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP S4 HANA and other logistics-related software.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
