Job description
- Responsible for developing inventory plans and ensuring optimal inventory levels for each product . Implement inventory management systems to ensure tracking, recording, and reporting of inventory activities .
- Identify obsolete or excess inventory and develop strategies to minimize inventory write offs , markdowns , and disposal costs to reduce inventory holding costs and free up storage space.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams such as sales , operations , finance and procurement to align inventory management strategies with business objectives. Coordinate with service centers and clients to retrieve defective unit and arrange for buffer units preparation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements , accounting standards , and internal controls related to inventory management and comply with ISO standards.
- Undertake any ad hoc assignment assigned by the management as and when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of Diploma in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Inventory Coordinator /Assistant , Inventory Analyst , Supply Chain Planner working experience are favored.
- Ability to analyze inventory data , identify trends , and make informed decisions and able to use software for analyzing inventory data, generating reports , and gaining insights into inventory performance .
- Precision in recording inventory transaction and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Effective communication with team members, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Understanding of supply chain processes and logistic to optimize inventory flow
- Able to communicate in English, Malay, and Mandarin to better serve our customers and partners.
