Job description

-Support the accounting team in recording and maintaining financial transactions accurately.
-Learn and apply proper coding and classification of expenses and revenues.
-Aid in processing invoices, verifying payments, and assisting in managing accounts payable.
-Learn to handle invoicing, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments.
-Assist in reconciling bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy.
-Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets under supervision.
-Participate in data compilation and generating financial reports.
-Gain exposure to monitoring and analyzing expenses for alignment with budgetary constraints.
-Assist in identifying and reporting irregularities in expenditure.
-Provide assistance with administrative tasks related to the accounting department.
-Help maintain organized financial files, records, and documentation.
-Engage in learning opportunities to understand basic accounting principles and practices.
-Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.
                    

Requirements

-Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-Certifications or qualifications relevant to accounting studies, such as LCCI or ACCA.
-Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting or finance.
-Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
-Proficiency in MS Excel and willingness to learn accounting software.
-Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and eagerness to learn.
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
