Job description
As a Senior Finance Executive, you will be responsible for managing company finance and accounting tasks, as well as directly managing a small team of admin executives. You will be required to coordinate with the Syntec headquarters management team and develop internal workflows or SOPs in the Malaysia branch office.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses.
- Managing the budgeting and forecasting process for the region, including preparing and presenting financial projections to senior management.
- Managing relationships with the headquarter management team, external auditors, tax advisors, and other professional service providers in the region.
- Preparing the cash flow statement, month-end closing, and budgeting.
- Maintaining proper accounting records and documentation.
- Coordinating between the headquarter finance team, outsource accounting firm, and internal admin executives.
- Providing guidance to local teams and developing internal workflows or SOPs.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance/Accounting or related studies.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience working in an SME.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
