Job description

~ Troubleshoot and repair machinery and construction equipment and related systems
~ Need to inspect, diagnose and fix faults in the equipment
~ Able to strip and overhaul Diesel engine and hydraulic system and parts
~ Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
~ Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
~ Attend breakdowns on-site
~ Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
~ Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
~ Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
~ Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
~ Able to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs independently.
~ Ability to operate equipment and tools involved in machinery repair.
~ Keeping track of repairs, maintenance and servicing record.
                    

Requirements

~ 2 or more years of experience working with repairs and maintenance of engines / light construction equipment.
~ Good knowledge of equipment parts and hydraulic system, electrical systems, fuel systems
~ Able to read parts manual and operation manuals, schematic diagrams
~ Construction experience would be an advantage
~ Organized and ability to communicate effectively
~ Willing to work overtime
~ Willing to work in outdoor conditions
~ Fresh graduates with NITEC/ Higher NITEC/ Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical/ Automotive/ Diesel Engine related discipline also encouraged to apply.
