Job description

Job Scope:
- Sourcing and purchase suitable products for live selling purpose
- Perform a market research and analysis regarding the products to find out the USP and potential of the product
- To check Purchase Requisitions by comparing items requested to master list, clarifying unclear items and recommending alternatives.
- Liaise with supplier from product sourcing, testing, confirmation, transportation, to any after sales issue 
- To prepare weekly order list and making sure all products delivery on time
- To negotiate price  and communicate closely with the person concerned
- To collect precise and professional information regarding the products, and also convey the message to our selling host 
- To assist superior in performing other duties as instructed and which may arise from time to time.
- Sit down with the management & selling host to determine the direction of sourcing new products 
- Responsible to ensure the stock-in time and quantity 
- Inspect stock and reporting any fault items or inconsistently immediately.
                    

Requirements

- At least 5 years working experience in purchasing, product sourcing
- Majorly in Food, Daily consumption products, skincare & make-up, Electronics or any similar category 
- Possessed good network in above mentioned field 
- Capability in negotiation and comparison prices.
- Good communication skill 
- Able to work under pressure, chase deadline 
- Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin.
- Candidate fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients and suppliers.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to work independently.
