- Evaluating electrical systems, products, components, and applications
- Designing and conducting research programs
- Applying knowledge of electricity and materials
- Confirming system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods and properties
- Developing electrical products by studying customer requirements
- Researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials
- Developing manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment
- Assuring product quality by designing electrical testing methods
- Testing finished products and system capabilities
- Preparing product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Providing engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Maintaining product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
- Maintaining product data base by writing computer programs and entering data
                    

Requirements

* Minimum Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Knowledgeable in all general electrical areas of industrial facilities
* Knowledgeable in overhauling LV motor, power generation, transmission and power distribution system
* Knowledgeable in electrical installation, alternator, generator, lighting systems, heater bundle, ring main units, Nav. Aid System, Solar power and transformer
* Possess Ex certificate that is certified by IECEX or SIRIM
* Knowledgeable in national safety electrical codes and standards
* Able to lead and provide supervisory to team members and good problem solving skills
* Able to adapt to fast-paced work environment
* Must be familiar with ZETO & 12 Life Saving Rules and regulations
* Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Applications e.g. Excel, Word & PowerPoint
* Must be fluent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu
