Business Operations
• Oversee the management of transmission turnkey projects to ensure that projects are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner and projected profit margins are achieved.
• Follow-up and liaise closely with clients on tenders submitted and any major project matters.
• Provide solving solutions and advisory support to implementers of projects and operating staffs.
• Identify business opportunities primarily for the transmission & distribution sector for both the utility & private market with the objective of growing the market share of the FTK (Full Turnkey) business segment.
• Set business strategies & sales plans to achieve the revenue target.
• Undertake new business development and analysis and business forecasting.
• Active role in developing new businesses and investments (with the close coordination of top management).
• Responsible for the overall growth of the Company’s business.
Admin Operations
• Manage the overall operational performance of Hasilwan.
• Proactively monitor, measure and provide weekly report on operational issues, risks & opportunities, and development plans & achievements to the top
• To uphold practices and ensure strict compliance to ISO 9001:2008 certification in overall company operations.
• Provide leadership toward achieving the Hasilwan mission, strategy, and objectives.
• Develop the talent capability of the staff to ensure that they acquire the necessary skills, knowledge & competency to carry out their responsibility and to achieve the revenue target.
• Interface between the Board of directors, Hasilwan company management and employees.
• Responsible for managing HSW’s requirement on accounting, legal, property facilities, and human resource shared services with GK Group.
• Responsible for all aspects of management & statutory reporting, and compliance with statutory and taxation laws and regulations.
• Responsible for formulating and developing legal agreements with legal advisors to formalize arrangements with regards to agency lines, joint-ventures & teaming, and other legal agreements.
• Responsible for sourcing of materials including negotiation and contract management.
Finance
• Manage the company financial requirements (with GK Group Finance Dept.) in order to sustain current business profitability and business expansion.
Requirements
- Experience in handling transmission line and substation projects would be an advantage.
- Must have experience in tender, project management and contract management.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with good business acumen.
- Excellent planning & organising skills & ability to manage competing priorities.
- Good analytical, communication, presentation & negotiation skills.
- Ability to coach, motivate and lead the company and its employees
