Job description
• Operate feedmill factory - recognize feed raw material, calculate accurate quantity for usage, estimate production time, operate control room, work with other factory staff to achieve effective productivity.
• Machine upkeeping - replace wear and tear parts - regular checking on machine and parts based on a standardize and scheduled timetable for each section, or conduct immediate approach based on actual situation.
• Warehouse upkeeping - maintain an effective floor plan for the position of stock keeping to ensure minimum traffic in transferring goods.
• Productivity monitoring - have a record of the facility usage on fuel, electricity, manhour, packing materials, wood pellets, forklift and others that will contribute to the production cost, and thereafter generating a monthly report on the total expenses, and unit expenses per ton of feed produced.
• Train, assign, schedule, coach, and discipline employees
• Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions
• Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
• Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
• Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
• Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed
• Any other task assigned by superior as and when needed.
Requirements
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office
• Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Strong plan executive and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Resourceful, responsive, reliable and ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing to work at Telok Gong, Port Klang
Working day: Monday-Saturday (8.00am-5.00pm)
