Job description
• To source for suppliers for purchases and negotiation of pricing.
• Liaise and communicate with supplier by email and phone.
• Responsible for order processing and follow up on delivery
• To liaise with local liner and forwarder and follow up status or date of shipment
• Report on monthly purchasing status for budgeting purposes.
• Issue out purchase order, debit note and delivery order.
• Handle and evaluate suppliers’ performance based on quality, delivery performance, cost and allocation.
• Propose supplier charge and distribution.
• Give day to day administration support
• Maintain and filling documentation
• Assisting in overall operation process
• Any other task assigned by superior as and when needed.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
• Min 1 year experience in related field
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, basic knowledge of accounting data entry
• Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Strong plan executive and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Resourceful, responsive, reliable and ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing to work at Telok Gong, Port Klang
