Are you ambitious and self-driven? *Handle day-to-day accounting operations. *Maintain good records of accounting entries and ensure that accounts are up-to-date at all times. *Handling full set of accounts which includes generating financial reports in accordance with accounting standards, processing payables, receivables, journal vouchers, petty cash, maintenance of fixed assets registers. *Prepare financial accounting reports including supporting schedule/documents timely. *Prepare year-end audit schedule and liaise with auditor and tax agents during the annual audits and tax filing. *Prepare monthly GST return. *Perform ad-hoc assignments i.e. banking in cheques and collecting documents, etc. *Perform any other related assignments when required.
*Possess Degree in Accountancy. *At least 2 years’ experience in handling full set of accounts. *Possess a strong sense of responsibility, commitment and discipline. *Able to work independently with minimum supervision, willing to learn and take on added responsibilities. *Knowledgeable in Goods & Services Tax (GST) *Well versed in record keeping and filing system. *Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Excel, Words and MYOB Accounting Software. *Proficient in written and spoken English & B. Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage). *Willing to travel and possess own transport.
