Job description

•	Increases productivity of production lines through operator efficiency improvement, ergonomics and line loss reduction.
•	Reduces work in progress materials through throughput, line layout, balancing, material handling and process flow optimization.
•	Generates and updates time study to reflect actual standard.
•	Assists in providing capacity planning, capital budgeting and strategic planning.
•	Drives cost reduction plan through industrial engineering effort.
•	Improves output per square feet through space optimization.
•	Assists in production cost estimation in terms of labour hours.
•	Support movement of jigs, fixtures, equipment into or out from the line.
•	Acts as team member in project or product transfer.
•	Acts as internal quality auditor.

                    

Requirements

•	Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
•	AutoCAD, preferably with MTM calculation knowledge or equivalent.
•	Possess lean manufacturing knowledge.
•	Minimum 5 years’ experience in production management or industrial engineering
•	Computer literate and with fair spoken & written English and Bahasa Malaysia
•	Able to perform under stress and challenges.
•	Possess own transport and willing to travel frequently to site within Malaysia on short notice.
•	Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.
