Job description

•	Study, plan, and execute actions affecting delayed shipment, backlog, and production cost
•	Increases productivity of production lines through operator efficiency improvement, ergonomics and line loss reduction
•	Reduces work in progress materials through throughput, line layout, balancing, material handling and process flow optimization
•	Generates and updates time study to reflect actual standard
•	Assists in providing capacity planning, capital budgeting and strategic planning
•	Drives cost reduction plan through industrial engineering effort
•	Improves machines output through part fabrication process or design improvement
•	Assists in plant ERP system such as routing
•	Assists in production cost estimation in terms of labor hours & machine operational cost
•	Support jigs, fixtures & equipment design & development
•	Acts as team member in project or product transfer

                    

Requirements

•	Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Process) or equivalent.
•	Minimum 5 years’ experience is required. Preferably from manufacturing/ metal fabrication industry.
•	Possess knowledge and experience in industrial safety, sheet metal machines & welding machine processes.
•	Possess knowledge on CO2 laser/fiber laser, turret punch & CNC press brake bending machines will be an added advantage.
•	Possess welding processes knowledge on SMAW, GTAW & GMAW will be an added advantage.
•	Software skill(s): AutoCAD, Solidworks or equivalent.
•	Computer literate and with fair spoken & written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
•	Able to perform under challenges and work long hours with minimum supervision.
•	Possess own transport.
•	Applicants should be Malaysian citizens
